Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a tertiary care hospital in Rochester, New York. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced overnight imaging environment.
Shift Details
- Night Shift – 4x10s
- Schedule: Friday through Monday
- Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- No on-call requirement
- Holiday coverage required if scheduled
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Administer contrast injections in compliance with facility guidelines
- Operate MRI equipment and maintain imaging quality standards
- Accurately document procedures and patient information using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support quality patient care
- Follow safety procedures and infection prevention protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Tech experience preferred
- Candidates with less than 2 years may be considered with interview
- ARRT (R)(MR) Certification required
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine License required
- Injection certification required
- Epic charting experience preferred
