This MRI Technologist position. The facility holds Advanced Primary Stroke Care certification, accreditation as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and designation as the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. It is also home to the region's only Level III NICU, Pediatric ICU, and dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room.
The role. The MRI Technologist performs technical imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation to detect pathology. Day-to-day responsibilities center on operating and regulating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images, exposing and processing radiographic images, and organizing completed studies within the PACS system. The technologist applies working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy across head, neck, body, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging protocols to ensure accurate and clinically useful results.
What we're looking for.
• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts including head, neck, body, MSK, spine, and MRI imaging
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; 3 years preferred
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician License required
• ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
