Job Description: Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs various Radiology Services procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail in MRI. Performs a variety of imaging and documentation procedures, including Radiology procedures, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation and/or MRI and for radiologic diagnosis and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Assists in the department of Radiology and its function. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist
QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of 24 month AMA School of Radiology Technology 12 months previous experience in MRI preferred ARRT certification in Radiology ARRT certification in MR technology preferred NYS IV Contrast certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire NYS license in Radiologic Technology BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire
