Pay Rate
Local: $72 – $78/hr
Traveler: $78 – $82/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MRI examinations, including Breast MRI, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT/AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.

• Active New York State LRT License.

• ARRT (MRI) Certification.

• New York State IV Certification.

• Current BLS Certification.

• Strong knowledge of MRI physics and cross-sectional anatomy.

• Breast MRI proficiency required.

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized MRI examinations, including Breast MRI.

• Position patients and coils for optimal image quality.

• Complete MRI safety screening and educate patients before procedures.

• Evaluate image quality and transmit studies to PACS.

• Complete RIS/IDX documentation accurately and promptly.

• Maintain MRI equipment, supplies, and infection control standards.

• Assist physicians during Breast MRI procedures and biopsies when required.
