Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist- Set up and operate MRI equipment with precision and care
- Administer patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures
- Responsible for understanding and applying MRI safety protocols
- Handle critical and ventilated patients in coordination with ICU RNs and RTs
- Administering contrast when required
- Maintain accurate records of procedures using EPIC
Requirements of the MRI Technologist- ARRT-MR certification
- BLS certification
- A minimum of 1 year MRI experience in either acute or outpatient settings
- Proficiency with equipment including GE Cigna Artist 1.5, Medirad MRI IV pump, MR 400 tele monitor
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with a diverse patient population across different age groups
