    Profiles are sent directly to the unit for consideration
    Copy of the DL is needed at time of submittal to validate legal name - Pulse must reflect the name on a gov't issued ID - no middle initial or middle name

    Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

    Special Information:
    -Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
    -May be asked to precept, as needed by the unit
    -First to Float between College Station and Bryan campus (16 minutes apart) as needed

    ***WILL NOT ACCEPT CLINICIANS WITHOUT PHILIPS AND SIEMENS EXPERIENCE***
    Department: Radiology - MRI
    What is the equipment and is it required to have experience on it? Yes experience required on either Philips or Siemens is HIGHLY PREFERRED
    Single modality; not expected to cover CT or X-Ray duties
    Certification Requirements: BLS, ARRT, PLUS a Medical Radiologic Technologist licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
    Rad badge (dosimeter) not needed for this position
    How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1-2 per location
    Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Possibly if familiar with Philips and Siemens equipment or if the contract is extended
    Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties MSK, Neuro, and Body scans for both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and hospital settings, IV starting, Creatinine draw
    Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with devices and 1.5T equipment
    Average # of scans/studies per day: 10
    EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Meditech and Synapse
    Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) Philips and Siemens is HIGHLY PREFERRED
    Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Non-supervisor/lead MRI Tech position
    Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
    Radiologist in-house? Yes for hospital locations
    Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes
    Shifts & Scheduling M-F with rotational call; one week on-call rotation every month (week call is from 5 pm-6 am M-F and then 24 hours for saturday and sunday)
    Weekend Requirement Yes on call
    Holiday Requirement Rotational on call
    Call or Standby requirement? Yes
    Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Not provided, Black scrubs required
