Salary Range: $50.89 - $76.33 per hour
Additional Pay: 15% differential in lieu of benefits

This per diem role is perfect for MRI technologists who want flexibility, work-life balance, and a chance to support a tight-knit rural community. You will help cover PTO, sick calls, and staffing needs-playing a vital part in maintaining access to imaging services for the Cottage Grove area.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and advanced MRI exams with accuracy and compassion. • Prepare exam rooms and equipment for a smooth workflow. • Manage daily tasks and related clerical work. • Use patient history and prior imaging to guide exam decisions. • Provide clear patient education before and after exams. • Adjust exams based on patient needs and conditions. • Operate MRI scanners, reconstruct images, and complete quality checks. • Follow ACR Safe MR Practices to ensure a safe environment. • Assist with training students or new staff as needed. • Support CT or X-ray when properly credentialed.

Requirements:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent education. • Experience: Experience required for State licensure. • Experience: 1 year of MRI experience preferred. • Solid knowledge of MRI and radiologic anatomy and terminology. • Venipuncture competency required. • Comfortable with PACS, RIS, ImageCast, and CareCast. • Credentials: One of the following required at hire: ARRT, R, ARRT MR, or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or American Registry of MRI Technologists. • ARRT-MR strongly preferred upon hire, required within 18 months. • Multi-modality techs: ARRT-R-MR or ARRT-R-MR-CT highly preferred to support CT or X-ray when needed. • BLS required. • Oregon OBMI registration required.
