Position Summary: The MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations as ordered by physicians, utilizing advanced MRI equipment. This role requires consideration of each patient's individual and age-specific needs, along with sound clinical judgment in applying imaging factors, techniques, and patient care to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images.
$6,000 Sign-On Bonus
Required Qualifications:
- Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
- Licensure/Certification (must meet one of the following):
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire, or
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- One of the following within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
- National Certified MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- New graduates must have an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) temporary license and obtain permanent licensure within 6 months of hire.
