Position Summary: The MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations as ordered by physicians, utilizing advanced MRI equipment. This role requires consideration of each patient's individual and age-specific needs, along with sound clinical judgment in applying imaging factors, techniques, and patient care to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images. $6,000 Sign-On Bonus Required Qualifications:
Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
Licensure/Certification (must meet one of the following):
Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire, or
Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire.
One of the following within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
National Certified MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
New graduates must have an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) temporary license and obtain permanent licensure within 6 months of hire.
