Position Overview
As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout every exam. You’ll work closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow imaging professionals to provide high-quality MRI studies that support accurate diagnoses and outstanding patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive MRI and contrast media safety screenings to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality imaging care.
- Review implants and medical devices to ensure safe MRI scanning and monitor patient safdety throughout the examination process
- Verify patient details, educate and guide patients through the imaging process with empathy and professionalism
- Administer IV contrasts in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
- Position patients accurately and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Verify and transfer quality images to PACS
- Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department workflow enhancements
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Maintain and manage imaging equipment and inventory supplies
- Foster positive communication and teamwork across departments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
- Current ARRT certification in MRI required
- Current Montana Radiologic Technologist permit required
- Current BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology preferred
Schedule:
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
