    Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.

    As a 12-hour MRI Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will work in a fast-paced, busy environment where critical thinking is essential. Attention to detail is a must! We are seeking an MRI Tech with a high level of technical skills and a deep understanding of MR physics and protocol optimization, as well as strong customer service and safety skills. Scheduled days are based on department needs, including weekend rotations.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Graduate of an accredited MRI Tech program required

    Licenses/Certifications:

    • ARRT-R or ARMRIT certification required
    • CRT preferred
    • Venipuncture certification required
    • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 2 years of experience performing a variety of MRI scans in a busy clinical environment required
    • Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered as an MRI Tech I

    Physical Demands:

    • Lifting, standing, walking, transporting patients
    • Ability to work in ACR ZONE IV environment required
