MRI Technologist

Job Type: 8-Week Contract | Local & Traveler
Schedule: Day Shift | Rotating 07:00 AM – 08:00 PM | 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate:
Local: $2,850 - $2,950/Week
Traveler: $3,500 - $3,600/Week
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience operating MRI equipment, administering contrast, and working in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program.
Active NYS Radiography License.
ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) Certifications required.
NYS Contrast Injection Certification required.
Minimum 1 year of Diagnostic Imaging experience.
MRI experience preferred.
Knowledge of PACS, RIS, HIS, and EMR systems.
Prepare and screen patients for MRI procedures.
Position patients and perform MRI scans.
Administer contrast media as required.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment.
Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards.
Document patient information accurately in EMR systems.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
