MRI Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join the imaging team at University Health Truman Medical Center. In this role, you will perform MRI procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings while providing technical support to radiologists and residents during advanced imaging studies. You'll also serve as a valuable resource to colleagues within your area of expertise.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
• 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

On-Call & Weekend Requirements

• Occasional weekend on-call coverage required
• Weekend call: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (as needed)
• Holiday coverage as needed

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary Range: $30.00 – $47.00/hour
• • Compensation based on years of experience and internal pay equity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Provide technical support to radiologists and residents during advanced imaging studies.
• Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Operate MRI equipment according to departmental policies and protocols.
• Serve as a specialized resource and mentor to coworkers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT registration in good standing upon hire or obtained within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Siemens MRI experience preferred.
• Credentialing in MRI preferred.
• Hospital-based MRI experience of 3–5 years preferred.
