Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
  • Certifications Requirements: ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification; BLS certification.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience; previous travel experience preferred.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts; strong patient care skills; familiarity with GE and Siemens MRI equipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced MRI techniques and protocols to accurately capture diagnostic images of patients with various medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety during procedures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met.
  • Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results accurately within the charting system.
  • Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process.
