To provide high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging at a technical level, so as not to require constant supervision. To assist the Radiologist in the performance of advanced procedures. Responsibilities Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, hospital staff, and physicians. Educates and protects all customers entering the magnetic field. Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients. Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
Qualifications Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology. ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist. Maintain yearly CEU requirements. MRI experience preferred. Current Iowa Permit to Practice. ARRT MRI Board Certification preferred. CPR certified. Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
