We are seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join an imaging office at a radiology group in Maplewood, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional with significant MR work experience, particularly with high-field magnets. The position offers a highly competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to train in and perform remote MRI scanning.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
ARRT(MR) certification required.
1 year of MR work experience required; high-field magnet experience is a must; GE high-field magnet experience preferred; Philips and Siemens experience a plus; CT experience preferred.
May be required to train in and perform remote MRI scanning.
Ability to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI exams with accuracy and care using high-field magnets across multiple office locations.
Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols across various equipment brands (GE, Philips, Siemens).
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, including screening for MRI safety contraindications.
Train in and perform remote MRI scanning as required.
Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment.
Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed.
Apply CT experience when applicable.
