MRI Technologist

As an MRI Technologist, you'll play an important role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and creating a remarkable patient experience. You'll work closely with patients, radiologists, and other members of the healthcare team to safely perform MRI examinations while ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit.

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience:Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: 
  • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
  • Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required. 
• Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
