    Description

    Job Description
    MRI Technologist
    • 1st or 2nd shift available.
    • Full benefits offered.
    • Less than 1 hour from Cincinnati, OH
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner
    • Maintain understanding of MRI safety protocols
    • Interact positively with diverse patient populations
    • Work as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team
    • Available for on-call and holiday coverage
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Requirements:
    • Graduate from ARRT or ARMRIT accredited MRI educational program
    • One year of MRI experience preferred
    • Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, or obtain within 24 months of hire
    • Current BLS certification
    • Proficient in MRI scanner operation and adjusting imaging parameters
    • Knowledge of MRI safety and research workflow
    • Strong patient positioning and safety skills
    • Emergency response capabilities
    • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Time management abilities
    • Empathy and patient care skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    Essential Functions:
    • Perform MRI examinations
    • Ensure patient safety and comfort
    • Administer contrast media
    • Maintain MRI equipment and safety standards
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team
    • Document and manage patient information
    • Research implantable devices for MRI compatibility
    • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards
    • Assist with workflow and operational efficiency
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • ARRT (MR) certification preferred
    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • One year of MRI experience preferred
