Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: 35 Hours/Week
Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (5 Days/Week)
Pay Rate: $55 – $61.50/hr (based on experience)
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a diagnostic imaging team in an acute care setting. The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocols
- Prepare and educate patients before imaging procedures
- Ensure MRI safety by screening for contraindications
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment for high-quality imaging
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to emergencies if needed
- Document procedures and patient data in EMR systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience
- Experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
- Experience operating MRI equipment
