    Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary.

    Job Description

    Specialize in magnetic resonance imaging scanners. They inject patients with contrast media, such as a dye, so that the images will show up on the scanner. The scanners use magnetic fields in combination with the contrast agent to produce images that a physician can use to diagnose medical problems.

    Additional Job Description

    Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.  Work Experience: 1+ year of Radiologic experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
