Job Summary and Qualifications As a MRI Tech, you will perform and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department. We pride ourselves in knowing that our employees are compassionate, kind, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care. You will, under the direction of a physician, perform MRI magnetic resonance imaging examinations to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge. You will be expected to perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision and the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
You will be responsible for advanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment, examinations, and working with students, staff, teaching MRI technology. You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and care for all patients, which includes the ability to interpret information in terms of the patients needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed.
Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date. Vocational School Graduate RDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or ARRT-R Radiography
