**Description** **Per Diem MRI Tech** + **PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center, Longview, WA** + **Variable shifts, may be scheduled between the hours of 0600 and 2130** + **$47.68 - $71.95** + **15% Differential in Lieu of Benefits** **What You'll Do** + Responsible for performing all routine and specialized MRI procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information. + Operates MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images. + Applies the ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices to ensure patient, visitor and caregiver safety. **Qualifications** **Education** + Accredited School of Radiologic Technology required, or equivalent education and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by State for clinical practice **Experience** + Minimum of 1 year previous experience preferred + Demonstrated venipuncture competency + Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy + Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications **Credentials** + Required upon hire: ARRT - R or ARRT - MR or ARRT - Sonography or CNMT or ARMRIT + Required within 1-1/2 Yrs: ARRT - MR + Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support + Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure required at hire PeaceHealth is committed to the overall wellbeing of our caregivers.
