Position Overview: This is a PRN position with various shifts. Shifts include days, evenings, and weekends. Set hours will be discussed in interview.

Pre-employment Requirements:

  • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Must be a second year Radiology Student or ARRT certified.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies.
  • Ability to perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high-field strength magnets and related equipment and produce radiographic images of specific body parts.
  • Ability to analyze patient histories and complete screenings for pacemakers or other objects that may cause injuries during the exam.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ability to acquire IV access to patients needing contrasted studies.
  • Provide appropriate patient care and recognize conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines.
  • Responsible for maintaining continued education as required for professional licensure.
  • Must be able to comply with government regulations to ensure the safety of the staff and patients as well as evaluate the scans for technical quality.
