Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a short-term outpatient imaging assignment in a fast-paced emergent care clinic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative imaging team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Screen patients and review clinical history prior to exams
- Administer IV contrast in accordance with certification and facility guidelines
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation within Epic EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support timely patient care
- Operate Siemens MRI equipment, preferably Espree MRI systems
- Support CT imaging responsibilities if qualified and licensed
Requirements
- ARRT-MR certification required
- Active New York State license required
- IV contrast/injection certification required
- MRI experience required
- Siemens MRI experience preferred, especially Espree MRI units
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates performing CT procedures must also hold injection certification for IV contrast administration
