MRI Technologist - Up to $12,000 Sign-On Bonus

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at our M Health Clinic and Surgery Center in Minneapolis, MN! This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday and Tuesday from 11AM - 7:30PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30AM - 3PM.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance imaging studies as ordered by physician or provider according to approved procedures
• Schedules patients for MRI exams
• Ensures proper identification on all images, accurately completes computer functions according to department policies including appropriate edits, status changes, charges, logging, and storage preparation to ensure proper follow-up
• Keeps current with and implements new improvement developments in field of MRI
• Communicates and interfaces effectively with clinicians, physicians, radiologists, technologists and patients

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent Hospital-based Training Program
• R.T.(R). with AART within 18 months of hire
• 3 months of MRI Technologist experience
• Some experience working in an academic or clinical setting
