Role snapshot

As the MRO Parts and Inventory Coordinator, you’ll partner with maintenance and production teams to locate, issue, and track the right parts at the right time. You’ll rely on multiple computer systems, scanning tools, and online software to research work orders, move materials, and surface the information needed to solve problems fast.

A day in the life

  • Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to understand needs and set part priorities.
  • Unload, receive, and verify incoming materials and components.
  • Accurately identify parts and arrange pickup/distribution with the correct personnel or departments.
  • Organize and store items in designated inventory locations.
  • Research historical inventory movements, locations, and transfers to determine root causes of discrepancies.
  • Assist with developing and implementing corrective actions that strengthen inventory control.
  • Conduct routine inventory audits to protect data integrity and on‑hand accuracy.
  • Support fellow parts personnel and on‑campus warehouse locations to ensure timely service to internal customers.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical components.
  • 1 year of inventory experience.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Capability to push, pull, or lift heavy parts or equipment with or without assistance.
  • Comfort using scanning equipment and online software.
  • Proficiency in Inventory Management & Control.

Schedule & compensation

  • Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with flexibility to work weekends and overtime.
  • Hourly pay: $17–$19.
