Description


Bunzl Processor Division (BPD) is currently seeking a Product Sales Specialist. This role is responsible for driving sales growth and profitability through expansion of existing accounts and development of new customer relationships. The position requires a consultative, service-oriented approach combined with strong analytical and organizational skills. Picking fingers are specialized replacement components used in chicken processing equipment to help grip, separate, guide, or move poultry products efficiently through automated production lines. Only applicants from the following states will be considered: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas.


Responsibilities


+ Grow sales and profitability by increasing penetration within existing accounts and developing new customer relationships

+ Own and manage assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention

+ Identify and execute pricing strategies that support margin and volume objectives

+ Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and relationship building

+ Manage product inventory levels for new and existing customers to ensure availability, accuracy, and efficiency

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service, sales, and management to support customer and company goals

+ Attend customer meetings, internal meetings, and regular one-on-one reviews with management

+ Utilize VIP (Dimensions of Professional Selling) methodologies to guide sales strategy and execution


Requirements


+ High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Previous outside sales experience required

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities

+ Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships

+ Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written/oral communication skills

+ Comfortable working in a team environment with internal partners and external stakeholders

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

+ Experience with IBM I-Series / AS400 operating systems highly preferred

+ Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail

+ Professional, friendly demeanor with a solutions-oriented approach

+ Significant travel required with overnight stays

+ Occasional international travel may be required
