Role Summary
The MRP Planner is responsible for ensuring material and execution readinesstosupportproductionschedulesandcustomerdeliverycommitments.Thisroleconvertstheapprovedmasterscheduleintoanexecutableplanbymanagingmaterialavailability,suppliercommitments,inventory,capacityconstraints,andshipmentforecasts.
Working cross-functionallywithBuyers,ProductionControllers,Manufacturing,andSalesSupportRepresentatives(SSRs),theMRPPlanneridentifiesrisks,drivesrecoveryactions,andensuresproductionplanscanbeexecutedontimeandinalignmentwithcustomerrequirements.
Responsibilities
- Managematerialreadinessandshipmentforecaststosupportproductionexecutionandcustomerdeliveryperformance.
- ReviewMRPoutputs,inventorypositions,suppliercommitments,andplanningexceptionstoidentifyandmitigatesupplyrisks.
- Evaluatematerialandcapacityreadiness,leadshortagemanagementactivities,andcoordinaterecoveryactionstosupportworkorderrelease,productionexecution,andcustomerdeliverycommitments.
- Leadshortagemanagementandcoordinaterecoveryactionsformaterial,supplier,andcapacityconstraints.
- PartnerwithBuyers,ProductionControllers,Manufacturing,andSSRstoresolveshortages,delays,andexecutionconstraints.
- Monitorandcommunicaterisksthatmayimpactproductionschedules,customercommitments,orinventoryperformance.
- MaintainplanningdatawithintheERPsystem,includingleadtimes,orderpolicies,safetystocklevels,andotherplanningparameters.
- Supportinventoryaccuracy,engineeringchanges,newproductintroductions,andsuppliertransitions.
- ParticipateinSIOPandoperationalreviewprocesses,providingvisibilityintomaterialandcapacityrisks.
- Drivecontinuousimprovementinitiativesthatreduceshortages,expedites,scheduledisruptions,andplanningexceptions.
- PerformallworkinaccordancewithFlowservesafety,quality,compliance,andoperationalexcellencestandards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor'sdegreeinSupplyChain,Operations,Business,Engineering,orarelatedfield;equivalentexperiencemaybeconsidered.
- 3+yearsofexperienceinmaterialplanning,MRPplanning,productioncontrol,orsupplychainoperationswithinamanufacturingenvironment.
- ExperienceusingERPsystemstomanagematerialrequirements,inventory,purchaseorders,andsuppliercommitments.
- KnowledgeofMRP,inventorymanagement,capacityplanning,andsupply-demandbalancingprinciples.
- Stronganalytical,problem-solving,anddecision-makingskills.
- AdvancedMicrosoftExcelskillsandproficiencywithERPreportingtools.
- Effectivecommunicationandcollaborationskillsinacross-functionalmanufacturingenvironment.
PreferredQualifications
- APICS/ASCMCPIMcertificationoractivepursuitofcertification.
- ExperiencewithSAPS/4HANA.
- Experienceinengineer-to-order,configure-to-order,make-to-order,orothercomplexmanufacturingenvironments.
- KnowledgeofSIOP/S&OP,LeanManufacturing,continuousimprovement,andstructuredproblem-solvingmethodologies.
