Summary:
- Establishment of production schedules based on forecasts of major equipment or groups of select items.
- Schedules reflected into MRP module as input and inventory replenishment orders approved as output.
- Maintaining major equipment records and publishing shop-related reports.
- Monitoring activity of critical inventory items.
Responsibilities:
- Input and review MRP runs.
- Review daily shortages and take necessary action.
- Prepare reports on critical items.
- Adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in business or completed course in Production and Inventory Control or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of shop experience.
- Minimum one year of PC planner experience.
- Minimum one year of scheduling experience.
- Experience with Lotus or similar spreadsheets necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), Internet software, and E-mail.
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to sit and use hands to touch, handle, or feel.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
