MS Assistant Volleyball Coach

Reports to: Athletic Director & Head Coach

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current first aid/CPR card
• Ability to meet WIAA coaching requirements and follow all WIAA and district guidelines
• Previous coaching experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, community members and athletic director

Duties:

• Plan and execute or assist with the process for all team practices
• Supervise players and volunteers at all team events (games, practices, road trips, meetings, etc.)
• Provide basic medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries. Be able to execute emergency plan for athleic facilities
• Keep current with district and WIAA rules and regulations
• Work collaboratively to ensure athletic program is aligned with the vision and philosophy of the head coach and athletic director
• Post-season collection of all issued equipment, med kits, keys and uniforms for inventory
• Post-season debriefing/evaluation

Starting date: Fall 2026

Salary: Per Extra-Curricular Agreement

Evaluation: After the season
