The School District of Horicon is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and student-centered educator to serve as our Middle and High School Agriculture Teacher. This position provides instruction to students in grades 6-12 through engaging, hands-on, project-based learning experiences that prepare students for success in postsecondary education, technical careers, skilled trades, and the agricultural industry. Additional summer agriculture responsibilities are required. Preference will be given to candidates with additional certification in career technology education.
The successful candidate will develop and lead a comprehensive Agriculture Education program that promotes academic achievement, career readiness, technical skill development, leadership, and community engagement. The district values educators who build strong partnerships with local businesses, agricultural producers, technical colleges, and industry leaders to provide authentic learning opportunities for students.
