MS/HS Physical Education Teacher

The School District of Hillsboro is now accepting applications for Middle/High School Physical Education Teacher. This position requires a dynamic teacher with the ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, peers and the community.

The preferred candidate will:

• -Effectively utilize evaluations and assessment to plan, coordinate, and implement a developmentally appropriate learning experience
• -Confer with parents, administrators, specialists and other professionals to develop individual educational plans designed to promote students'' educational, physical, and social development
• -Develop and implement curriculum in line with the Wisconsin State Standards
• • Implement instructional practices that differentiate to meet the needs of the learner and are objective-driven
• -Have a growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• -Encourage student growth in self-discipline and positive self-concept
• -Exhibit an understanding and respect for students, knowledge of classroom and behavior management techniques

QUALIFICATIONS:

Appropriate DPI licensure.

Strength and Conditioning certification is preferred, but not required.
