Full-Time Music Teacher - King Philip Regional Middle School King Philip Regional Middle School is seeking a highly qualified music teacher to join our outstanding middle school music department. The ideal candidate will possess strong musicianship, basic piano proficiency, and exceptional collaboration skills, along with a commitment to fostering musical growth and engagement for all students. The King Philip Regional Music Program is recognized locally and nationally for its tradition of excellence and its commitment to providing a high-quality music education. Our department is composed of dedicated educators who work collaboratively to inspire creativity, develop musicianship, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for music. Primary Teaching Responsibilities 7th and 8th Grade Chorus 7th and 8th Grade General Music Additional Responsibilities Prepare students for evening concerts, district auditions, festivals, and other performances. Collaborate closely with choral and instrumental colleagues to develop and align curriculum, support student growth, and strengthen the district''s comprehensive music program spanning grades 7-12 and the three elementary schools that feed into the district. Contribute positively to the continued growth and excellence of the King Philip Regional Music Program. Additional Stipend Opportunities Qualified candidates may also be considered for one or more of the following stipend positions: After-School Music Clubs Middle School Vocal Ensemble MS/HS Musical Music Director/Pit Conductor Additional offerings based on student interest and candidate expertise Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success teaching middle school choral ensembles. Knowledge of age-appropriate vocal pedagogy and adolescent voice development. Experience programming engaging and educational choral literature for middle school singers. Ability to inspire and support students across a wide range of musical abilities. Strong conducting, rehearsal, and performance preparation skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with colleagues, students, and families. Commitment to building a positive, inclusive, and student-centered music program. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
