What Youll Do
Provide patient-centered care to individuals with diagnoses such as heart failure, chest pain, ESRD, renal failure, neuro/stroke, respiratory failure, and syncope
Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms using bedside GE monitors and vein finders
Use AVA system cameras to assist with fall prevention
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records, including Epic
Respond promptly to patient emergencies and assist with procedures on a telemetry and stepdown unit
Support a patient ratio of 1:4, maintaining high-quality standards of care
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification
Experience with Epic electronic health records system
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to emergency team assignments
Preferred:
Prior experience in med-surg, telemetry, or stepdown units
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
