What You'll Do
- Submit prior authorizations for prescriptions and specialty medications
- Complete medication assistance and grant funding applications for patients
- Contact insurance companies to follow up on claims and authorizations
- Assist with patient data collection and documentation in EPIC
- Ensure compliance with health facility policies and procedures
- Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare team to provide accurate financial guidance
- Maintain excellent communication with patients and insurance providers
What You Need
- Required: High School diploma + 3 years of relevant work experience OR Associates degree + 1 year of relevant experience
- Preferred: Pharmacy technician license
- Key skills: Attention to detail, strong communication, proficiency in EPIC or similar EHR systems, professionalism, and reliability
