Weekend Requirement: This is for a 7 on, 7 off type of schedule. From 11am to 10:30pm (Wed-Tue)

Scrub Color: Navy Blue top, Black bottom scrubs. See Hospital Dress code policy

Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: They are in house 24/7
IV Team: Yes

Floating: All sections within the department to include; Blood bank, Blood Gas, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology and Urinalysis
Floor specific orientation: Dependent on their experience and ability to learn out system: 2 to 3 weeks
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: ER, ICU, Med Surg, OB/GYN, Nursery, OR, PACU, Surgical, Nursing Homes, Outreach
Additional Notes: Must have general experience with major laboratory instrumentation and procedures; must has Blood Bank experience and the ability to work 10-12 hour shfits.
Additional Questions: Have they used automated Blood Bank Systems? What is their level of experience with Microbiology PCR and Multiplex testing systems?
