Join Our Team as a Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLT) and Make a Difference in Patient Care!

We are seeking a skilled MT/MLT/MLS to provide vital diagnostic support in our facility. Required Skills:
  • Certification as an MT, MLT, or MLS (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in blood bank testing, including blood typing and crossmatching
  • Strong venipuncture skills and experience performing various laboratory tests
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems; Cerner experience preferred
  • Ability to follow universal precautions and adhere to safety standards
  • Excellent attention to detail, dependability, and responsibility
  • Effective communication skills with staff, physicians, and patients
  • Capable of troubleshooting chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation analyzers, and other lab instruments
  • Ability to perform QC and equipment maintenance accurately

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior blood bank experience
  • Experience in serological/micro testing and microscopy
  • Knowledge of new laboratory technologies and procedures
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating as necessary
  • Per diem status with no guaranteed hours; flexibility is key
  • Must be comfortable working in a Cerner EMR environment and wearing any color scrubs
  • Willingness to comply with all applicable licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements, if applicable
