Required Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Certification or licensing as required by state and federal regulations
- Proven proficiency in laboratory testing and techniques including phlebotomy
- Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and quality control procedures
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in microbiology and chemistry testing, with leadership experience in these areas preferred
- Familiarity with molecular diagnostics and blood bank procedures
- Prior exposure to hospital laboratory settings and complex testing environments
- Cross-training in night shift operations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of an Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related discipline
- Relevant clinical laboratory experience, especially in hospital or healthcare settings
- Certification by the ASCP or equivalent is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work day or evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per schedule
- Ability to provide proof of licensure and certifications
- Willingness to cross-train for coverage in night shifts when needed
- Professional appearance with minimal jewelry; adherence to dress code policies, including restrictions on visible piercings outside of traditional earrings and small nose studs
- Authorization to work required documentation such as E-Verify
Hourly Pay Rate: $27.10 plus experience, with shift differential and weekend bonus opportunities.
