TRC is HIRING Laboratory Technician in White, GA!
Hours: 6:00am - 6:30pm (Monday - Friday, with Thursday off)
Pay: $23/hr
SUMMARY
This technician role supports product testing and certification by performing reliability and safety tests, operating laboratory equipment, following standard procedures, collecting data, and documenting results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Test Operations
• Operate testing equipment for reliability, safety, and certification activities.
• Follow standard procedures and certification requirements accurately.
• Inspect products before and after testing and load or unload equipment as needed.
• Track test progress, collect data, and perform basic analysis to inform the next steps.
• Interface with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms.
Process Management
• Follow established procedures and adapt methods when required.
• Maintain records of testing activities, measurements, and product status.
• Report findings and results to supervisors or engineers promptly.
• Work with team members to support workflow and safe operations.
Safety and Compliance
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety procedures.
• Document failed tests and escalate issues when required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, lab, or production environment.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs frequently.
• Ability to safely perform physical job duties, including occasional lifting of heavier materials, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Basic problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate’s degree in science, engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience with product reliability or certification testing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing or testing processes.
• Exposure to ISO-regulated or laboratory testing environments.
• Familiarity with additional data analysis tools or software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work is performed in a manufacturing or laboratory environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and automated equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and material handling may be required.
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures is required.
