About the Role

We are hiring a Sr. MuleSoft Developer to join our client’s Commercial Credit Technology team on a long-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-scale integration initiatives, helping drive modernization, compliance, and API-led connectivity across critical banking applications.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft development, API integrations, Java technologies, and enterprise service architecture. This role requires someone who can proactively identify technical improvements, support scalable application development, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft ESB
  • Build reusable, system-agnostic integration components and services
  • Develop and support SOAP and REST-based web services across enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance and compliance readiness
  • Participate in application modernization and API-led connectivity initiatives
  • Work with Java-based technologies including Spring and Hibernate frameworks
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of integration applications
  • Support CI/CD and deployment activities using tools such as Maven and Jenkins
  • Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and best practice implementation
  • Partner with stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule

What We’re Looking For

  • 12+ years of experience in software development and enterprise integration
  • 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft ESB development experience (Mule 3.9.x, Mule 4.4 or higher)
  • Strong understanding of SOA principles and integration patterns
  • Experience developing SOAP and REST APIs
  • Proficiency with Java, Spring, Hibernate, XML, XPath, and XQuery
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases; Oracle experience preferred
  • Experience with Maven, Jenkins, and Bash Shell scripting is a plus
  • Exposure to Rational Team Concert is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
