Judit Inc. is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to design, build, and support integrations between Salesforce and surrounding state systems for the AHCA Rural Health Transformation Program. This is a hands-on integration engineering role responsible for connecting the new Salesforce grants management solution to legacy state systems, financial systems, and data sources critical to grant intake, review, award, and reporting workflows. The ideal candidate has deep MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience and is comfortable working within a fast-moving, multi-vendor state government delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager) connecting Salesforce to external and legacy AHCA systems.
  • Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based APIs supporting grants intake, eligibility, award, and reporting data exchange for the Rural Health Transformation Program.
  • Apply API-led connectivity principles (System, Process, and Experience API layers) to ensure reusable, secure, and well-governed integrations.
  • Develop DataWeave transformations for complex data mapping between Salesforce and source/target systems.
  • Partner with Salesforce developers and solution architects to define integration architecture, error handling, and retry/monitoring strategies.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for Mule applications within Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Monitor integration performance and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Support state security, privacy, and compliance requirements applicable to health and grants data.
  • Produce clear technical documentation of integration designs, data flows, and operational runbooks in partnership with the program's Technical Writer.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and manage work through Azure DevOps boards.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience using the Anypoint Platform.
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, and/or Platform Events.
  • Strong command of DataWeave and API specification standards (RAML and/or OAS).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments, ideally within Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of API security patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT, client ID/secret enforcement policies).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a state-required background check.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working directly with government and prime-contractor stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 or Level 2.
  • Prior experience on state or local government, health and human services, or grants management implementations.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Salesforce Certified Integration Architect.
  • Experience with health/Medicaid data and familiarity with HIPAA-aligned data handling practices.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with financial or ERP systems in a public-sector environment.
