What You Will Do

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for a MuleSoft Architect in a high-growth practice. You will work with and lead the project team to translate requirements into well-designed integration solutions. You will participate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with the clients business objectives. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and documenting integration solutions of business applications. As a key team member on the project, you will guide customers through the implementation of MuleSoft solutions using our adaptive-agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage clients to gather, define, and document technical requirements for integrations and APIs.
  • Develop integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components (Design Center, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, DataWeave, Message Queue, Anypoint Exchange).
  • Craft and scope MuleSoft solutions for proposals or project actions.
  • Demonstrate solution functionality to stakeholders.
  • Perform impact analysis for scope changes.
  • Provide MuleSoft expertise and leadership to project teams.
  • Influence standards for integration development, governance, and operational lifecycle.

What You Will Need

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with MuleSoft ESB Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, CloudHub, Connectors, API Management)
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "Public Trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their Public Trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an Active Public Trust or Suitability are preferred.

Work Environment

The position is hybrid, requiring on-site work 2-3 days per week as designated by the practice.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to design, build, and maintain integrations across on-premises and cloud systems.
  • RAML/OpenAPI, Core Java, JMS, XML, SOAP/WSDL, REST/JSON.
  • DevOps tools (Jenkins, MUnit, ANT, Maven, Artifactory, GitHub/BitBucket).
  • Integration with enterprise apps (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERP).
  • Strong communication and client service skills.

Nice to Have

  • MuleSoft certifications: Certified Integration Architect - Level 1, Delivery Champion, Integration Associate, Developer - Level 2.
  • Experience with Salesforce architecture and connectors.
  • Superior communication, estimation, and client management skills.
