Regal Rexnord Corporation (NYSE: RRX) builds the systems that move the world—automation solutions, electric motors, motion controls, power generation, and mechanical power transmission. With four segments (Automation & Motion Control, Industrial Powertrain Solutions, Industrial Systems, and Power Efficiency Solutions), a headquarters in Rosemont, IL, and 220+ sites worldwide, we serve global markets with scale and purpose.

Where you’ll make your mark

Our Aerospace Solutions business delivers high‑performance bearings, seals, gears, and electrical components for commercial, regional, business, helicopter, and military aircraft—supporting engine, flight control, landing gear, and airframe systems. You’ll see our brands everywhere: Shafer® and Tri‑Roller® rolling‑element airframe bearings and tooling; Tuflite® Teflon‑lined polymeric bearings; PSI® slotted entry, split ball, and split race bearings; Rexlon® self‑lubricating machinable lined bearings and coatings; Cartriseal® mechanical seals; and Micro Precision® gears and electrical components. We also support major OEMs and MROs through FAA‑approved repair stations.

A day in the life

You start by loading a proven program to a horizontal machining center, then refine macro variables to dial in an aerospace tolerance. Before lunch, you jump to a 5‑axis lathe to optimize a subprogram, then coach a machinist on uploading/downloading programs from storage. The afternoon is spent updating the program library revision status for a NADCAP audit, and wrapping a quick Kaizen (SMDE, VSM, 5s) huddle to remove waste in a setup routine. Throughout, you champion Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost while meeting AS9100 and NADCAP expectations.

Core responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and validate CNC programs to machine complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances across multiple axes and machining platforms.
  • Program and optimize Horizontal Machining Centers, leveraging macros, sub‑programs, and variable‑based logic.
  • Develop for 4‑axis lathes, 5‑axis lathes, Y‑axis lathes, and both large and small Vertical Machining Centers.
  • Troubleshoot on the shop floor and solve real‑time manufacturing issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) including SMDE, VSM, and 5s.
  • Maintain program libraries and revision status in alignment with NADCAP requirements.
  • Manage program storage systems; assist associates with uploading and downloading programs.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (desired) or 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial technical roles with CNC programming required.
  • At least 5 years in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to extract and analyze critical data to drive decisions.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
  • Strong computer proficiency: CAD/CAM, Esprit, Solid Works, MasterCam, and general productivity tools (word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Fluency in G/M code editing, macro‑style programming, multi‑axis functions, and Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi CELOS controllers.
  • Demonstrated time and project management skills; self‑starter with minimal supervision.
  • Team‑oriented with influence skills across functions and levels.

Rewards and benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary
  • Matching 401(k) contribution
  • Medical Insurance/Dental Insurance/Vision Insurance
  • Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability Insurance
  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
  • Life Insurance
