You’ll kick off by reviewing prints and CAD/CAM files, mapping out machining sequences, and selecting tooling. You’ll load or write multi‑axis programs, set up CNC mills, and switch over to manual lathes as needed to produce precision parts. Throughout the run, you’ll verify features using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment, then capture everything in Oracle Manufacturing. Between jobs, you’ll create or refine 2D drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and Mastercam to support both prototype builds and production.
What You’ll Own
Setups and operation on multi‑axis CNC mills and manual lathes to deliver tight‑tolerance components.
Blueprint and specification interpretation, plus CAD/CAM review to plan efficient, compliant machining sequences.
In‑process and final inspections with precision metrology tools, including micrometers, calipers, and CMM systems.
Creation of detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and Mastercam.
CAM programming and toolpath development from CAD models for seamless handoff to the machine.
Documentation and routing updates, along with general computer administration in Oracle Manufacturing.

Hands‑on 3D CAD modeling experience in Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
A degree in Precision Machining Technology or relevant CAD certifications; or 1–2 years of equivalent experience.
Background with Injection Molding, Extrusion, Thermoforming, or Dip Molding (preferred).
Strong PC skills, including Excel and Word.
Familiarity with Oracle Manufacturing for computer/admin tasks (preferred).
Clear communication and the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the company.
