Make Your Mark at Ashley

Picture your morning: coffee in hand, you open the week’s hours file from AS400 and Excel, audit driver trip packets with a sharp eye, import clean data into the HRIS, and run preliminary reports. By mid-morning, you’ve partnered with offsite payroll teams to reconcile exceptions, keyed corrections, and prepared checks for printing and sorting. Before day’s end, you’ve fielded employee pay questions, validated totals, and produced the reports leadership relies on. That’s a day in the life of our Payroll Operations Analyst.

What You’ll Own

  • Execute weekly hourly payrolls for all Ashley companies, from data intake to final check printing and sorting.
  • Receive and validate hours/wage inputs via AS400 and Excel; audit driver trip packets and other source documents for accuracy.
  • Import, adjust, and maintain records in the HRIS; complete necessary data-entry corrections and verifications.
  • Collaborate closely with offsite payroll groups, internal departments, and supervisors to meet weekly timelines.
  • Produce and verify payroll reports; resolve discrepancies and confirm totals prior to finalization.
  • Perform audits on selected HR-entered items; handle administrative work such as filing, data entry, and scanned document reviews.
  • Respond to supervisor and employee inquiries regarding pay with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
