A day in the life

At our Whitestown, IN (46075) facility, you arrive ready to keep production humming. You walk the line, listen for changes in machine tone, scan indicators, and spot a conveyor idler beginning to fail. Before it becomes downtime, you schedule a quick intervention, verify lockout/tagout, swap the component, and capture the work in the maintenance log. Later, you partner with operations on a new equipment install, align a drive, commission a VFD, and tune a PLC input. When a hydraulic leak shows up, you trace it back, rebuild the component, and verify performance—all while keeping safety front and center.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance across industrial equipment to sustain uptime and product quality.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems, determine root cause, and implement durable fixes.
  • Inspect machinery for efficiency, reliability, and safe operation; escalate risks appropriately.
  • Collaborate with production and fellow techs to streamline processes and reduce repeat failures.
  • Document all service, parts, and findings in accurate, organized maintenance records.
  • Champion safety practices, including LOTO and hazard recognition, to maintain a safe work environment.
