Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. This full-time position is critical to ensuring the continuous operation of our industrial facility through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both industrial maintenance and industrial electrical systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. This role requires a versatile professional who can seamlessly transition between mechanical, electrical, and other maintenance disciplines while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems according to established schedules and manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Execute corrective maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize production downtime and restore equipment to optimal operating condition
- Maintain, repair, and replace components including motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and other mechanical assemblies
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues before they result in failures
Industrial Electrical Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems including 480V three-phase power distribution, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and instrumentation
