Hiring Opportunity: Lancaster Ohio

Our client is looking to hire a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for their Lancaster Ohio location! Our client industry leading producer of glass bottles, labeling and packaging.

Qualified candidates would be experienced in Electrical Controls, reading electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints, understanding machine controls, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairing mechanical and electrical breakdowns. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of Industrial maintenance
- Experience with Electrical machine Maintenance
- Experience with Mechanical Machine Maintenance
- Experience with Production related machinery
- Ability to work in confined spaces and wear self-contained breathing apparatus or fresh air mask
- Demonstrated experience in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing both mechanical and electrical breakdowns with Machinery
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints and drawings and piping and instrumentation diagrams
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds and climb and work from scaffolds and man-lifts of various heights

Job Responsibilities:
- Electronic and mechanical maintenance
- Prepares maintenance reports by completing the root-cause analysis methodology
-Works cross functionally with the maintenance and operations team to drive to the root cause of problems
- Locates sources of problems by observing the operation, listening for problems, and using measuring and testing instruments as related to condition-based maintenance.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and replace, adjust, and/or repair parts using manual tools, power tools, and support equipment
- Improve and maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations (lockers, tools, equipment, working environment, etc.)
- Analyze and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and mechanical drawings to determine work procedures, materials, tools, and equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair equipment problems and rigging as required
