Step onto 2nd Shift and Run the Line

Picture this: you clock in for 2nd shift, walk the production floor, and take command of a multi-station cold header—Sacma or National—dialed in to form precision fasteners and components. You keep the machines humming, watch the quality, and move parts through to spec, all while following strict safety practices and production targets. And yes—there’s a 5% shift premium for your 2nd shift expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor Sacma and National cold heading machines to produce parts to specification and schedule.
• Perform routine quality checks with gauges and measuring tools to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Load material, make minor machine adjustments, troubleshoot basic issues, and keep your area clean and safe.
• Complete all production documentation and promptly communicate equipment or quality concerns to supervisors and maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies while consistently meeting productivity goals.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience running cold heading equipment (experience on Sacma or National preferred).
• Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring instruments accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Setup experience is a plus—not required.
• Comfort working independently on 2nd shift and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Experience

• Background with multi-die cold heading machines.
• Knowledge of fastener manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Ability to perform machine setups and changeovers.
