Multi-Family Maintenance Technician - $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Under the direction of the Service Director and Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician at Terminal 21 in Pittsburgh is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes and responding to customer service requests.

• Hourly rate starting at $24/hour; pay based upon experience
• Earn $15/day (on top of base pay) during on-call weeks
• Parking is free for employees at Terminal 21
• There is a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus included in the compensation for this opportunity - $1,000.00 after you start and $1,000.00 after you've been in your role for 90 days.

Maintenance Services:

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned
• Assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials
• Perform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standards
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments
• Notify Business Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetings
• Responsible for knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestos
• Assist in snow removal as required
• Perform other duties as required
• Maintain accurate record of all tasks completed

Customer Service:

• Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards
• Available for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service requests, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as scheduled

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CFC Type I & II preferred, 180 days from hire to obtain
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushing
• Sufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessment up to the standards of a Service Technician I
