We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Multi-Family Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the construction industry that requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction processes, team management, and project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities of multi-family residential projects, ensuring the quality of work is upheld and projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage construction activities.
2. Maintain daily logs of activities at the job site, including progress, issues, and resolutions.
3. Conduct regular safety walks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a hazard-free environment.
4. Manage Civil Sitework, including grading, utilities, and landscaping.
5. Prepare and submit RFI's (Requests for Information) to address any concerns or clarifications needed during construction.
6. Utilize construction management skills to plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
7. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time.
8. Responsible for budgeting, cost control, and financial management of the project.
9. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to ensure project is built accordingly.
10. Manage materials, ensuring proper storage, usage, and waste management.
11. Implement and oversee safety management plan, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Five or more years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, specifically with multi-family residential projects.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
3. Proven track record in successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
5. Strong understanding and experience with construction management software.
6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems effectively.
9. Knowledge of budget development and oversight.
10. Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) is preferred.
11. A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus.
